Client: Supply Ontario Work Location: 525 University Avenue, Toronto, Ontario, Canada Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Up to 3 days onsite, subject to Hiring Manager discretion Start Date: October 5, 2026 End Date: March 31, 2027 Business Days: 146 Hours: 7.25 hours per day, 5 days per week Extension: Option to extend for up to an additional 253 business days Public Sector Experience: Preferred Position Overview Supply Ontario is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to provide business analysis and analytical support for the ePrescribing/Medication initiative within the Patients Before Paperwork (Pb4P) portfolio. The Pb4P portfolio focuses on equipping frontline healthcare providers with secure digital solutions, modernizing clinical workflows, improving care delivery, and strengthening connections between patients, providers, and Ontario's digital health infrastructure. The successful candidate will bring strong experience in healthcare business analysis, clinical systems, medication/pharmacy workflows, requirements definition, stakeholder engagement, and health-system implementation. Key Responsibilities Provide business analysis and analytical support for the ePrescription/ePrescribing and medication initiative. Define and document business requirements for medication workflows. Engage healthcare stakeholders to gather, clarify, and validate requirements. Support prioritization of medication-related requirements. Contribute to the Medication Program Integrated Project Plan (IPP). Support the technical design of the ePrescribing solution. Develop and maintain process documentation. Contribute to project status reporting. Participate in working groups related to medication projects and programs. Coordinate tasks across stakeholders and project teams. Facilitate collaboration and support conflict resolution where required. Support implementation and deployment activities for health-system solutions. Liaise with customers and stakeholders to address queries, issues, risks, and requirements. Work effectively within matrix organizational environments. Must-Have Experience 5–7 years of Business Analyst experience within electronic health-related projects, preferably involving clinical software systems. 5–8 years of experience defining and implementing health-system business requirements. 4–5 years of experience with Healthcare Information Systems and healthcare data workflows. 4–5 years of experience with medication, pharmacy workflows, and/or associated business processes involving: Hospitals Patient admissions Health records Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent stakeholder engagement, presentation, active listening, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate stress tolerance. Experience coordinating tasks and facilitating effective collaboration across teams. Conflict-resolution experience. Demonstrated experience managing projects or programs within matrix organizational environments. Desired Skills & Experience College/University undergraduate degree in: Health Computer Science Engineering Business Related discipline A recognized equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered. Knowledge of medication workflows. Experience with health-system business implementation and deployment projects. Experience working directly with customers and stakeholders where customer service is a key focus. Experience responding to stakeholder queries, issues, and risk-management concerns. Experience working in highly political environments and across diverse organizational cultures. Working knowledge of healthcare privacy policies and legislative requirements, including: Health Protection and Promotion Act (HPPA) Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) Health Information Custodian (HIC) requirements Experience with provincial support models. Strong requirements-gathering experience. Public-sector experience is preferred. Health-system implementation and deployment. Provincial healthcare support models. Business requirements definition and validation. Stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering. Stakeholder & Communication Skills Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong presentation and facilitation skills. Active listening and stakeholder-management capabilities. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and organizational levels. Ability to coordinate activities across matrix environments. Strong conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work effectively across different organizational cultures. Customer-service-oriented approach to stakeholder engagement. Ability to communicate complex requirements and issues clearly. Privacy & Regulatory Knowledge Working knowledge of Ontario healthcare privacy and legislative requirements is preferred, including: HPPA – Health Protection and Promotion Act FIPPA – Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act PHIPA – Personal Health Information Protection Act HIC – Health Information Custodian requirements Work Arrangement & Additional Terms This position is currently listed as Hybrid. The resource may be required to work up to 3 days onsite, at the sole discretion of the Hiring Manager. The initial engagement is for 146 business days. There is an option to extend for up to an additional 253 business days, at the Agency's discretion. The engagement may also be extended using unused business days, subject to Agency discretion. The resource must comply with the Agency's policies and procedures. An Agency laptop will be provided. The resource is expected to provide at least: One additional monitor External keyboard Mouse When working remotely, the resource must have a private office space and cannot work from an open communal space. A hard-wired internet connection with suitable bandwidth is required to support the role's IT requirements. If the required home-office conditions cannot be met, the resource will transition to full-time onsite work, and the hybrid option will no longer be available. Agency systems cannot be accessed from outside the Province of Ontario without authorization. Agency assets, including laptops and related equipment, cannot be removed from Ontario without prior written approval from the Agency.
