The nurse will provide high-quality nursing care within a dynamic surgical environment, focusing on safe and effective patient outcomes, and must participate in on-call requirements to support service needs. Depending on the level (RN/M1 or RN/M2C), responsibilities range from consolidating skills as a proficient practitioner to taking on increased accountability and guiding less experienced staff.

Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the relevant Australian board and hold a current practicing certificate. The RN/M2C level specifically requires at least 3 years of full-time equivalent post-registration experience and demonstrated ability in leadership and direction of junior staff.
