HOW YOU CAN HELP AND WHAT WE CAN ACCOMPLISH TOGETHER As a SABI Mind Psychologist, you will be an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, providing clinical expertise and therapeutic guidance to support individuals with complex trauma, mood, and anxiety disorders. Your ability to combine deep clinical insight with compassionate care will help clients translate meaningful insights into lasting, measurable change. Together, we can redefine what effective mental health care feels like. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and intake sessions to understand client needs and goals. * Provide individualized psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s presentation. * Develop and implement treatment plans that promote insight, resilience, and recovery. * Utilize modalities such as CBT, ACT, EMDR, and Mindfulness-Based therapies to support clients in achieving therapeutic outcomes. * Monitor clients’ progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as needed to ensure optimal care. * Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation. * Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and case discussions to ensure continuity of care. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS * Registered and in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) with a Full Licence in Psychology. * Minimum 2 years of experience providing psychotherapy for adults with trauma, mood, and anxiety disorders. * Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed care and evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, ACT, EMDR, Mindfulness). * Strong ability to establish therapeutic rapport and maintain a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic environment. * Excellent clinical assessment and risk management skills, particularly regarding suicidality, psychosis, and dissociation. * Deep understanding of ethical and legal frameworks governing mental health care in Alberta.
