Saige Homecare has been honored to provide exceptional care in Calgary and surrounding communities for over 10 years. Saige Homecare is currently looking for a caring and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to work in a home care setting. Open availability preferred as there are daytime, evening and potentially overnight shifts available. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you would work under the supervision of our Registered Nurses and provide professional nursing care to the home care client. Pay: $26-$28 per hour, based on experience Schedule/Shifts: Casual, Flexible Benefits * Competitive wages based on experience and education * Flexible schedules * 24 hr On Call support * Ongoing and free training in specialized care areas by Registered Nurses * Rewards for career milestones * Respectful and supportive working environment Responsibilities * Performing specialized nursing procedures * Ability to follow Care Plan * Complete comprehensive client assessments * Observation, Documentation, Reporting and Charting of client conditions and changes * Remain on-call for clients who have healthcare emergencies * Provide emotional and psychological support to the client and family members as needed Qualifications * Active LPN License in good standing with CLHA * Current First Aid/CPR Certificate * Current Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (Completed in the last 6 months) * Strong communication skills, written and verbal, problem solving and organizational skills * Access to a computer and cell phone * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to complete assignments in a timely manner We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.

Exigences
