The OCC Data Processing Assistant Manager is responsible for providing support in overseeing the Seasonal OCC Data Processing Team – a diverse group of individuals who process donations and information. The primary duties of this role include, but are not limited to, seasonal staff recruitment, OCC Data Processing Center set-up, and general oversight of the donation processing team. As an integral member of the Data Processing department, this role will help SPC carry out its mission and objectives through participation in daily prayer ministry and demonstrating Christ-like leadership. This is a full-time contract position from November 16, 2026, until January 9, 2027. This role operates from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, located in our Ministry Center in Mississauga, Ontario. Responsibilities Supports the Data Processing Manager in the coordination of the Seasonal Data Processing Center for the Operation Christmas Box program. Assists in onboarding, supervising, and providing day-to-day support for a team of approximately 30 seasonal staff. Ensures the efficient setup and pack-up of the Data Processing Center at the beginning and end of the season. Oversees daily incoming OCC mail packages and provides ongoing support for those performing data entry functions. Ensures accuracy and accountability in daily deposits, reconciliations, and the handling of donor requests. Communicates and liaises with other SPC departments to ensure successful operations. Manages the procurement of necessary supplies and tracks and submits payroll sheets for the Seasonal OCC Data Processing Team. Contributes valuable feedback and reports to assist in the continuous improvement of processing procedures and staffing evaluations. Qualifications Qualified applicants must be committed to Christian values and precepts and be in agreement with the Samaritan’s Purse Statement of Faith. Post-secondary education in Office Administration or other related discipline is an asset, but not required. 3+ years supervisory/management experience including experience hiring and training staff. 2 – 5 years’ experience in an administrative/data entry role. Proficient in MS Office Word and Excel, with strong data entry skills. Accurate, efficient, and detail oriented. Able to multi-task, be well-organized and remain calm under pressure. Excels with repetitive tasks. Knowledge of Studio Enterprise and/or cheque scanning equipment an asset. Team builder, motivator and active problem solver.
