Bilingual Vehicle Test Driver (English/French) Job Type: Fixed Term Contract Travel within Ontario and Quebec required Job Summary We are seeking a bilingual (English/French) Vehicle Test Driver to support vehicle road testing and infotainment system validation. The successful candidate will safely operate test vehicles while evaluating navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice assistant, Bluetooth, media, and other connected vehicle features. This role requires strong attention to detail, safe driving practices, and clear documentation of test results. Key Responsibilities Safely drive test vehicles on assigned routes, including city roads, highways, and rural roads. Test and validate vehicle infotainment features, including navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, voice assistant, and media playback. Perform English and French language validation for vehicle displays, voice commands, and user interface content. Identify, document, and report software defects and user experience issues. Capture supporting evidence (photos, videos, screenshots, logs) when required. Communicate test findings with engineering and project teams. Follow established test procedures and safety guidelines. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written). Comfortable driving for extended periods. Familiarity with vehicle infotainment systems, navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth. Strong attention to detail and good written communication skills. Ability to document issues clearly and work independently. Preferred Qualifications Experience in vehicle testing, automotive validation, or quality assurance. Experience with software defect reporting tools (e.g., Jira or Excel). Knowledge of Canadian French language usage and localization. Working Conditions Extended driving hours may be required. Travel within Ontario and Quebec. Occasional early morning, evening, or weekend testing. May involve testing pre-production vehicles and confidential technologies. Pay rate : 25-35 CAD/hr
