Must Have: Human Factors & Ergonomics Flight Deck / Human Machine Interface (HMI) 3D Modeling (CATIA / Siemens NX / Jack / Rhinoceros) Usability Testing, Validation & Verification Aerospace / Aircraft Systems Knowledge Job Summary Seeking a Human Factors & Ergonomics Professional to support Flight Deck and Human Machine Interface (HMI) design and development. The role involves human-centered design, interface development, usability analysis, 3D modeling, testing, validation, and ensuring cockpit systems meet human factors, ergonomic, and certification requirements for aircraft programs. Key Responsibilities Perform Human-Centered Design (HCD) activities for Flight Deck and HMI. Develop and evaluate cockpit interface designs using 3D modeling, simulation, analysis, and rig testing. Define interface specifications and support product evaluation. Conduct usability assessments, validation, and verification of flight deck interfaces. Support new aircraft development, cockpit modifications, and sustaining programs. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance teams. Required Qualifications Degree in Engineering, Science, Industrial Design, or Ergonomics. Experience with Human Factors/Ergonomics principles. Hands-on experience with 3D modeling tools (e.g., CATIA, NX, Jack, Rhinoceros). Knowledge of aircraft systems (Mechanical Systems, Avionics, Flight Controls, Propulsion) and aerospace regulations. Strong communication skills; English required, French is an asset.
