Organization: SaskMilk Location: Regina, SK Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent Reports To: Senior Salary Range: $85,776 - $111,492 Position Overview The Manager, Data and Analysis is responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting data related to milk production, quota management, producer payments, market trends, and dairy industry performance. The role supports evidence-based decision-making, regulatory reporting, and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities Collect, validate, maintain, and analyze dairy industry, production, and financial data. Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics. Monitor milk production, quota utilization, producer shipments, and market demand. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management and stakeholders. Support forecasting related to milk production, transportation, demand, and revenue. Create data visualizations using Power BI or similar tools. Analyze quota, production, and market information to support regulatory programs. Support reporting requirements for provincial and national dairy organizations. Assist with producer payment calculations and verification processes. Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems. Identify and resolve data quality issues. Develop reporting procedures, business rules, and documentation. Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders. Support board reporting, strategic planning, and industry analysis. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with Power BI, or data visualization tools. Experience using SQL and relational databases. Definite Assets Experience with forecasting and statistical analysis. Experience in agriculture, dairy, agri-food, or commodity marketing. Knowledge of dairy industry regulations and quota systems. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis, modelling, and interpretation. Ability to work with datasets related to quota, production, transportation and market trends. Experience with tools such as Excel (advanced) and Power BI. Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex analytical findings into accessible language. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable working both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
