This is an excellent opportunity for a new entrant in the green industry who is seeking to further develop in the landscape construction stream and is interested in working on large elaborate landscape projects. Responsibilities * Assist in the construction of retaining wall systems, patios, and stonework projects * Demonstrate best practices and GLS process standards in relation to jobs performed, including but not limited to: sodding, perennial, shrub, tree, planting, soil work and over seeding, seasonal urn displays, etc. * Operation, maintenance and transport of various landscaping equipment: excavator, stone saws, chain saws, destumper, chipper, vibro plate, drills, and various hand tools * Occasional pickup and delivery of soft and hardscape materials * Complete required paperwork and report materials used * Promote safety, wear appropriate PPE and demonstrate hazard awareness at all times Qualifications * 1-2 years experience with landscaping and/ or construction * Ability to work effectively as part of a team * Ability to lift 15 – 30 kg, as well as to perform physically-demanding tasks * Valid G license an asset * Access to own transportation This is for an open job vacancy. The Landscape Labourer will assist in the construction of hardscape features such as retaining walls, patios, and stonework. They are also responsible for operating landscaping equipment and maintaining site safety standards.

Candidates should have 1-2 years of experience in landscaping or construction and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. A valid G license and access to personal transportation are considered assets.
