Chief Agent & Head of SGL Canada

The Chief Agent & Head of SGL Canada serves as the senior-most executive responsible for the overall leadership, governance, financial soundness, and strategic direction of SCOR’s Canadian branch operations. This role holds statutory accountability under Canadian insurance regulatory requirements (OSFI) and acts as the primary representative of the branch with regulators, clients, and key stakeholders. The incumbent ensures that SGL Canada operates in full compliance with applicable laws and regulatory expectations, while driving profitable growth, strengthening client partnerships, and aligning local strategy with SCOR’s global life reinsurance vision. The Chief Agent serves as the senior executive responsible for the leadership, governance, and financial soundness of SCOR's Canadian branch. The role involves managing regulatory relationships with OSFI and driving profitable growth aligned with global strategic visions.

Requires 10-15 years of progressive leadership in life insurance or reinsurance with full P&L accountability. A bachelor's degree is required, and FSA certification is considered a plus.
