We research hiring activity across major employers and organize relevant internships, co-op placements, and new-graduate roles in one place. About the Volunteer Role Scout is looking for Student Research Assistant Volunteers across the Greater Toronto Area to help research which companies are hiring students and new graduates. You will help identify, review, and verify information from company career pages and other public sources. Your research will contribute directly to Scout and help us surface more early-career opportunities for Canadian students. What You’ll Do Research companies that hire students and new graduates Find internships, co-op placements, and new-graduate opportunities Verify job details using company career pages and other public sources Record findings clearly and accurately Flag outdated, incomplete, or conflicting information Follow Scout’s research and data-quality guidelines Who We’re Looking For A current student or recent graduate based in the GTA Comfortable conducting online research Detail-oriented and able to verify information carefully Able to follow research instructions and document findings consistently Interested in early-career hiring, research, data, business, or technology Dependable and able to work independently No previous professional research experience is required.
