High Profile Security Guard (Victoria)

Location: Sidney, BC Pay Rate: Starting at $20.60 per hour About The Role Securiguard is hiring Security Guards to join our team. In this customer-facing role, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment while providing exceptional customer service. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where professionalism, communication, and teamwork are valued. Responsibilities Maintain a visible security presence to help ensure a safe and secure environment. Conduct regular patrols and routine site inspections. Perform lock and unlock procedures as required. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and members of the public. Monitor for safety and security concerns and respond in accordance with site procedures. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors using two-way radios. Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs. Respond to incidents and escalate concerns when appropriate. Follow site policies and standard operating procedures. Qualifications Valid BC Security Worker Licence. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Valid Class 5 driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle. Comfortable using two-way radio communication. Strong observation and problem-solving skills. Ability to write clear and accurate reports. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
