Securiguard Services is looking for experienced security guards for our various sites across the Ottawa region. At Securiguard, our mission is to make people feel safe. As a security professional, you'll contribute to the safety to our stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, enforcing policies and procedures, monitoring CCTV systems and operating security control room equipment, controlling access to the site, reporting any hazards or security breaches, and responding to incidents. Requirements Valid Ontario Security License Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED 1 year of security experience, preferred Diploma/Degree in the field of security or law enforcement preferred i.e Justice Studies, Police Foundations, etc Excellent communication & report writing skills Customer service experience is an asset Approaches a situation with a listening mindset and empathy Capable of standing and walking for a duration of up to 12 hours Ability to problem solve, effective with crowd management and use discretion and good judgment A valid drivers license & having a personal vehicle is an asset Shares and adheres to our values - REACH (Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Courtesy and Honesty) Pay rate: $21.15 to $24.50 What We Offer Award-Winning Corporate Culture - winners of Canada's Most Admired Corporate Culture 2021 Extensive Paid Training Extended Health Benefits Recognition Programs & Events We are committed to building an environment of respect and personal growth for all our staff.
