What to Expect in Your Day-to-Day As a Personal Support Worker, your work will include: Engaging in meaningful conversation and building genuine relationships with clients Assisting clients with daily living activities: mobility support, dressing, bathing, and personal hygiene Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding or meal routines as needed Helping with light housekeeping tasks and supporting clients to maintain a comfortable home environment Observing and reporting on changes in clients’ physical, mental and behavioural health; completing documentation of care activities Why Choose Senior Helpers? Qualifications We’re Looking For To be considered, you should have: A genuine passion for providing care and support to others Excellent communication skills and a client-centred mindset Availability to work non-traditional hours, such as early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends A valid driver’s license (G or G2 Classification), access to a reliable vehicle, and proof of automobile insurance To protect our patients, we require current vulnerable sector check screening, a clear background check Previous experience in home care or a PSW role is an asset (though we welcome motivated newcomers) About Senior Helpers We are a locally owned and operated franchise of the national brand Senior Helpers®, which has delivered in-home senior support across the country since 2005. As a Personal Support Worker, you will engage with clients through meaningful conversations and assist them with daily living activities such as mobility support, dressing, and personal hygiene. You will also prepare meals, help with light housekeeping, and observe changes in clients' health.

Candidates should have a genuine passion for providing care, excellent communication skills, and availability for non-traditional hours. A valid driver's license and a clear background check are also required, with previous experience in home care being an asset.
