Operations Manager Apply Now Position Description: Operations Manager Reports to: COO The Employee shall perform the following duties for the Employer as outlined below, including but not limited to: Principal Responsibilities Manage office staff (direct reports) and communicate with Shop Manager to ensure all employees are meeting requirements Communicate progress, delays, and issues to clients and sales team Coordinate with the COO, Shop Manager, Engineering, and Business Development Manager to ensure that all repairs and sales meet company standards and client expectations. Manage Change Orders and communicate with Shop Manager for execution Investigate non conformance events and investigate and develop corrective action Monitor and optimize repair turnaround times, labor utilization, and shop capacity by analyzing workflow data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity Oversee inventory control, procurement of parts, and meet with suppliers to leverage buying power and minimize expenses Lead daily toolbox talks and weekly safety meetings and ensure their proper documentation Ensure all employees are compliant with required Safety, OSHA and ISO training as well as Sentrimax policies Continuously evaluate ways to improve repair processes and operational efficiency, present these ideas to Shop Manager and COO Meet with the External ISO Auditor annually and provide the requested documentation and explain relevant operational procedures as needed Support Sales Staff with questions and proposals Assist and/or prepare quotes for repair services and field service jobs Interview and onboard office personnel Assist with parts sales, purchasing, and logistics as needed to maintain seamless operations and customer service Assist Shop Manager in developing and implementing training plans for shop personnel and SOP’s to enhance staff performance and operational consistency Provide ERP support and training to local users Performing all other duties as required by SCI and as required for day-to-day business operations Other Duties Other duties as required Qualifications The Employee must meet the minimum requirements for employment during the Term of this Agreement, including but not limited to, having/being: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, candidates with extensive relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree 10 + Years of experience of progressive leadership including responsibilities in operations, purchasing and sales Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross functional teams Demonstrated ability to reason, analyze, and solve complex operational challenges. Proven capability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, high-demand environment Holds self and team members accountable to performance standards, timelines, and company values Skilled in conflict resolution and maintaining a positive and productive work environment. Successful track record of managing personnel, delegating responsibilities, scheduling workloads, and consistently meeting deadlines Proficient in the use of ERP systems for managing operations, inventory, and scheduling. Familiarity with industrial equipment, including centrifuges, gearboxes, and electric motors Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision Apply Now
