Job Family MFG Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt Function MFG Essential Duties and Responsibilities General Function: Closing of mattresses using Auto Tape Edger or Manual Tape Edge machine Specific Responsibilities: Alignment of panels, border and tape to stitch along mattress Work with ATE or MTE, able to operate and perform minor operator maintenance Conduct quality control checks to ensure mattresses fit for packing are sent to packing conveyor Report machine issues to Supervisor Functional/Technical Competencies Experience/Education Ability to read, write and understand English proficiently Basic math skills Computer skills desired Production line experience helpful however not required Attention to detail is a must Effective organization and planning skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively in a safe manner Job Factors/Work Environments Key Relationships Competencies Come Dream with Us! The Closer is responsible for operating Auto Tape Edger or Manual Tape Edge machines to stitch mattress panels and borders together. They must also perform minor machine maintenance and conduct quality control checks before sending products to the packing conveyor.

Candidates must be able to read, write, and understand English proficiently and possess basic math skills. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and maintain high attention to detail.
