Our team responds to water, fire, and other property losses, helping our customers through what can often be a stressful and unexpected situation. We take pride in providing professional service, quality workmanship, and respectful care of our customers’ homes, businesses, and belongings. We are currently looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Restoration & Contents Technicians. The Position This is a hands-on position supporting both our Flood and Contents divisions. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in doing a job properly, works well as part of a team, and understands the importance of treating a customer's property and belongings with care. No two days in restoration are exactly the same. Depending on the project, you may assist with water-damage mitigation, contents handling and packing, demolition, site cleaning, equipment setup, furniture moving, warehouse duties, and general restoration labour. Previous restoration, construction, moving, warehouse, cleaning, or contents experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person. Responsibilities As a Restoration & Contents Technician, your responsibilities may include: Assisting technicians and project managers on water and property-damage restoration projects Removing damaged building materials and completing light demolition Performing debris removal, job-site cleanup, and general restoration labour Assisting with the setup, movement, cleaning, and removal of restoration equipment Packing, inventorying, moving, loading, and unloading customers' contents Carefully wrapping and protecting furniture and personal belongings Moving furniture and contents through homes, condos, commercial properties, elevators, and stairways Assisting with contents cleaning and specialty cleaning when required Loading and unloading company vehicles and cube trucks Maintaining clean and organized vehicles, equipment, warehouse areas, and job sites Following company health and safety procedures Communicating professionally and respectfully with customers and team members Supporting both the Flood and Contents teams based on operational needs Completing other restoration-related duties as required What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Reliable, punctual, and ready to work Hardworking with a positive attitude Comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the day Able to safely lift and move furniture, equipment, and building materials Careful and respectful when working inside customers' homes and businesses Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Professional when interacting with customers Willing to learn new skills and restoration procedures Flexible and comfortable working at different job sites throughout Greater Victoria Requirements Valid BC driver's licence Ability to perform physically demanding work Ability to safely lift and carry heavy items Reliable transportation to work Ability to work full-time Criminal record check upon hiring Previous restoration, construction, demolition, moving, warehouse, cleaning, or related experience is considered an asset Experience driving a van or cube truck is considered an asset What We Offer $20–$25/hour, depending on experience Full-time employment, approximately 40 hours per week Medical and dental benefits following the probationary period Company uniforms Training and development Hands-on experience in the restoration industry Opportunities to develop skills across multiple restoration divisions Opportunity for advancement within a growing company A team-oriented working environment The Right Person Technical experience can be taught.
