We are currently looking for an experienced Azure Local VDI / Azure Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure projects in Edmonton, Alberta. Key Responsibilities ✅ Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments ✅ Configure Azure Virtual Machines, networking, storage, and load balancing ✅ Integrate Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory ✅ Manage FSLogix profiles and Azure Files/Azure NetApp Files ✅ Monitor performance and troubleshoot AVD connectivity issues ✅ Configure security policies, Microsoft Defender, and Conditional Access ✅ Perform Windows image management and Azure updates ✅ Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions ✅ Provide L2/L3 technical support and create technical documentation Required Skills ✔ 3+ years of Microsoft Azure experience ✔ Hands-on Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) administration ✔ Windows Server 2019/2022 ✔ Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) & Active Directory ✔ Azure Virtual Machines & Azure Networking (VNets, NSGs, VPN, ExpressRoute) ✔ FSLogix ✔ Azure Files / Azure NetApp Files ✔ PowerShell scripting ✔ Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Manager ✔ Azure Monitor, Log Analytics & Azure Backup ✔ Hyper-V or VMware (preferred) ✔ Microsoft 365 administration is a plus Why Join Us?
