The Opportunity Employment Type: Full Time FTE: 1.0 Location: Shepherd’s Care Administration Office, 12601 135 Ave, Edmonton Rate of Pay: Commensurate with education and experience. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director, Asset Management and Facility Services (Director) is accountable for the strategic stewardship, performance, and long-term sustainability of all physical assets across SCF sites and campuses as well as the services that support the operation of our buildings and the services that support our residents and the delivery of resident care. This role is pivotal in ensuring that facilities, infrastructure, and equipment are effectively managed throughout their lifecycle and the services provided (food services, housekeeping, laundry, reception and maintenance) meet the needs of our residents and staff and support SCF’s Mission, Vision, and Values and align with its Strategic Plan. The Director provides leadership in the provision of operational site services, capital planning and asset optimization, driving proactive asset condition assessments, and overseeing both capital project delivery and maintenance programs. By managing preventative and demand maintenance initiatives, the Director ensures the timely resolution of emergent asset needs and promotes operational resilience across the organization. Additionally, the Director oversees an extensive contract that currently delivers food services, housekeeping, laundry, reception and maintenance in SCF facilities. The ideal candidate will have a degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Facility Management, or a related field, along with a minimum of seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in asset management, capital planning, or facilities management. You bring strong knowledge of asset and project management principles and building-related regulatory standards, with demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects, maintenance operations, and contracted services across multiple sites. Experience in healthcare, senior living, or a non-profit environment is considered an asset. A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s abstract are required.
