A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Specialist to provide support across multiple sites. This role offers the opportunity to drive site-level health and safety performance in a hands-on manufacturing environment while supporting regulatory compliance, process safety, and continuous-improvement initiatives. The Role As the Health and Safety Specialist, you will work closely with site leadership, operations, and corporate health and safety teams to maintain regulatory compliance, manage site risks, and strengthen safety culture. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine field inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analyses. Support process safety management initiatives and permit-to-work systems for high-risk activities. Lead investigations into incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. Identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Develop, maintain, and test emergency-response plans. Conduct routine audits and inspections of equipment, storage areas, and work practices. Maintain health and safety documentation and prepare performance reports for site leadership, corporate teams, and regulatory agencies. Implement corporate health and safety directives and ensure alignment with company policies, standards, and objectives. Qualifications 3+ years of health and safety experience within manufacturing or a related industry. Bilingual French and English communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated experience conducting audits, inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments. Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental studies, or a related field. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
