A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Specialist. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety legislation, internal HSE policies, and industry best practices, while supporting a strong safety culture across their operations. The Role The Health, Safety and Environment Specialist will support operations by identifying risks, conducting inspections, supporting training, and helping ensure safe work practices are understood and consistently followed. Key Responsibilities Conduct health and safety inspections, identifying potential risks. Review and update HSE policies, procedures, and safe-work practices in accordance with applicable provincial regulations. Support the development and delivery of health and safety training, communications, and educational initiatives for employees and supervisors. Facilitate hazard identification and risk assessments. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline. 2+ years of experience in a health and safety role within the manufacturing industry. Working knowledge of provincial and federal occupational health and safety legislation. Experience conducting workplace inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations, and root-cause analysis. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
