What will you do? The Asset Management Coordinator (AMC) supports the plant-specific management of IT, OT, manufacturing, and software assets throughout their lifecycle. These assets may include production machinery, test systems, robots, commercial software, and custom-developed manufacturing applications. The AMC serves as the primary operational and technical point of contact for assigned assets. The role maintains a comprehensive understanding of asset usage, technical architecture, interdependencies, and security requirements while ensuring that asset data and documentation remain complete and current. The AMC supports Asset Managers and works closely with Asset Owners, Asset Experts, IT Operations, Information Security, software development team. Implement and maintain Asset Management and Asset Classification and Protection processes, including required documentation and reviews. Maintain accurate asset and configuration information in approved ITAM systems or CMDBs and coordinate data-quality improvement activities. Maintain technical documentation, including architecture and network diagrams, data flows, system interdependencies, operating manuals, and support information. Identify non-compliance and cybersecurity risks and develop, implement, and maintain appropriate remediation or mitigation measures. Develop and coordinate asset-specific protection concepts with PSSE (Product & Solution Security Expert), ISP (Information Security Professional), and local cybersecurity teams. Perform or coordinate vulnerability remediation, software updates, patch management, application hardening, and continuous improvement of standard software solutions. Manage credentials, database access, file-share permissions, authorization concepts, and other asset-specific access controls. Act as the asset-specific technical contact for firewall reviews and coordinate required network rules, user accounts, certificates, and related IT services. Submit, prioritize, and monitor IT-related requirements and verify the quality and completeness of delivered solutions. Maintain licensing, contract, warranty, maintenance, renewal, and supplier information for assigned assets. Support audits, security assessments, incidents, procurement, technical acceptance, and asset handover by providing accurate records and evidence. Prepare reports on asset status, data quality, lifecycle, compliance, cost, and cybersecurity risk. Identify and implement optimization opportunities and complete required Siemens Asset Manager training and certification. What will you need to succeed? Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience. At least one year of relevant experience in IT/OT asset management, technical operations, infrastructure, application support, or cybersecurity coordination. Knowledge of ITAM, OT asset-management processes, CMDB data, lifecycle management, and Asset Classification and Protection. Understanding of IT infrastructure, client and server operating systems, networks, firewalls, hardware, software, databases, and cloud services. Knowledge of vulnerability remediation, patching, application hardening, access management, security exceptions, and cybersecurity risk management. Experience coordinating suppliers, contracts, licensing, warranties, procurement, renewals, or maintenance services. Experience with documentation, reporting, data analysis, data-quality management, and audit-ready recordkeeping. Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills. Structured, analytical, self-driven, and solution-oriented working style. Effective written and spoken English. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, OT, regulated, or audit-intensive environment. Experience with ServiceNow, Flexera, ManageEngine, Baramundi, Vault, Keycloak, or comparable asset-management and security platforms. Experience with databases, Power BI, workflow automation, APIs, C#, or other scripting and programming languages. Salary is commensurate with experience, and ranges between $ 65,551 CAD - $ 85,717 CAD, excluding bonus and benefits. In addition to base salary, this role includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus of 10% base salary, based on Company performance metrics. About Us.
