Parking & Sustainable Mobility Services is responsible for the management of parking and mobility across all SFU campuses. About The Role This position provides customer service and responds to counter and telephone inquiries in the Parking Services Office. It is responsible for processing counter sales and performing cashiering duties. In addition, it resolves minor problems relating to traffic offences and the sales of parking permits, lost/missing/stolen permits, parking fines, lot sell-outs, new lot vouchers and waiting list changes. Performs a variety of general associated clerical duties. Qualifications High school graduation and general courses or training of moderate duration (one semester/equivalent) in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. 1 year of related experience. 50 wpm keyboarding skill with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to use word processing and spreadsheet applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel) at an intermediate level. Ability to use database applications at a basic level. Some knowledge of the World Wide Web. Ability to operate an electronic cash register and to process transactions with a high degree of accuracy, including balancing daily proceeds.
