Détails du poste

Palo Alto Full-time On-site About The Company We're an early-stage, YC-backed hardware company building robotics hardware for demanding field environments. Our systems are already in the hands of users, and their feedback drives what we build next. We went from concept to a working second-generation system in a few weeks. That pace is the whole company. What You'll Do Own the embedded stack end to end - you'd be the first electrical hire in the US, and this domain is yours Write and tune BLDC motor-control loops on real hardware Integrate sensors: IMUs, encoders, current sensing - and make the data trustworthy Build the OTA infrastructure so we can update units in the field Build the debug and logging tooling the rest of the team relies on to find problems fast Take boards from schematic through bring-up, and debug them yourself when they don't work Work directly with our manufacturing team overseas including travel What We're Looking For Real-time firmware and motor control on physical robots or autonomous systems, not simulations You've written control loops at the loop level, on hardware that shipped Comfortable across the whole stack - schematic, board bring-up, firmware, tooling — not just one layer You've built debug and OTA infrastructure from scratch, or you're the person who wished someone had Fluent with a scope, a logic analyzer and a debugger, and you reach for them before you reach for a theory You've been early on a hard program and know what that costs Willing to relocate to Palo Alto Bonus First firmware hire somewhere serious Battery and power electronics depth Wearables, exoskeletons, prosthetics, drones or legged robots You still build things at home that nobody asked you to build Not a fit if you need a spec handed to you, you want to stay inside one layer of the stack, or changing requirements ruin your week. Requirements change here constantly, because the hardware keeps telling us things we didn't know. Skills: embedded, stack, electrical, firmware
