Financial Planner – Wealth Management Location: Surrey & Abbotsford, BC Work Type: Full-time, In-person Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM About the Opportunity Our client is a boutique wealth management practice with over 30 years of experience serving affluent individuals, families, and business owners. They are looking for an experienced Financial Planner who enjoys building long-term client relationships and providing comprehensive financial advice beyond traditional sales and product-focused environments. You’ll work closely with senior advisors and a collaborative team to provide personalized financial planning, investment management, risk management, and wealth strategies. Key Responsibilities Manage and advise a portfolio of client families. Develop comprehensive personal and business financial plans. Assess clients’ goals, investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs. Develop and implement investment and portfolio recommendations. Maintain ongoing client relationships, account oversight, and follow-ups. Collaborate with senior advisors, accountants, lawyers, and other professionals. Ensure accurate client records, reporting, and regulatory compliance. Participate in client events, workshops, and professional development activities. Requirements 5+ years of experience in financial planning or a client-facing financial advisory role. Current CIRO securities licensing. CFP® designation. Strong knowledge of investments, portfolio construction, and comprehensive financial planning. Experience with financial planning software and wealth management technology. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Strong attention to detail, organization, and judgment. Valid driver's licence and access to a personal vehicle. Ability to work in-office between Surrey and Abbotsford locations. Nice to Have: Insurance licence and experience with insurance/risk-management solutions. Why Consider This Opportunity?
