THE POSITION The Electronics Assembler will be responsible for producing high-quality products on the manufacturing line for our innovative lifesaving patented technology. As part of a skilled team, you will work together to meet daily targets. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will use soldering irons, test fixtures and automation equipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Experience with electrical assemblies and surface mount technology is an asset. HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING AN IMPACT Assemble and wire electronic components with precision, ensuring high-quality and accurate assembly. Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to meet strict quality standards. Utilize fabrication skills with soldering irons and machinery to produce high-quality assemblies efficiently. Perform tasks independently, maintaining productivity and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Visually inspect product to ensure high quality standards are maintained. Work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy. Apply knowledge of electrical assemblies to enhance product functionality and reliability. Contribute a strong work ethic and self-motivation, taking initiative and working with minimal supervision to drive results. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Assemble components accurately and consistently to meet quality standards. Follow blueprints and specifications with precision. Use of soldering irons safely and efficiently. Maintain high productivity with minimal supervision. Meet daily production targets without compromising quality. Support a positive, team-oriented environment through clear communication and collaboration. Proactively identify and report issues to maintain smooth workflow. Contribute to continuous improvement by bringing to light new ideas. WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU REQUIRE Experience with soldering and electronic components. Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise assembly. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspections and quality control. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills for collaboration and issue reporting. Experience with electrical assemblies considered an asset. Experience with surface mount technology is considered an asset. Knowledge of IPC standards is considered an asset.
