Senior Canadian Tax Manager Leadership Opportunity Location: Fully Remote Across Canada or Hybrid from Vancouver or Langley, BC Salary Range: $135,000 - $170,000 Ready to take the next step in your tax career with a firm that values leadership, flexibility, and growth? Smythe LLP is seeking an experienced and collaborative Senior Canadian Tax Manager to join our growing Canadian Tax Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working closely with clients, mentoring team members, and contributing to a dynamic and people-focused firm. This role is open to candidates located anywhere in Canada and can be performed fully remotely. Hybrid and in-office arrangements are also available from our Vancouver or Langley offices. The Opportunity As a Senior Canadian Tax Manager, you will work closely with clients and Partners to deliver tax planning and compliance services to a diverse client base while mentoring team members and contributing to a collaborative practice. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated tax professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to grow their career with a progressive and supportive firm. In this leadership role, you will: * Manage tax planning and compliance engagements for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals * Support tax advisory and planning engagements, including drafting client correspondence and memoranda * Identify tax planning opportunities and additional client service needs * Research technical tax issues and stay current on tax legislation and case law * Deliver high-quality client service and practical tax advice * Mentor and provide guidance to team members What You Bring * Minimum 1 year of Senior Canadian Tax Manager experience in public practice * Completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Program * Strong technical tax knowledge, analytical skills, and ability to develop practical tax solutions * Excellent communication, client relationship, and leadership skills * Collaborative, proactive, and able to work effectively with individuals at varying levels of technical expertise Why Smythe?
