About The Role We’re looking for a results-driven Area Manager to lead multiple retail locations and develop high-performing teams. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll be accountable for sales performance, operational excellence, people development, and regulatory compliance across your portfolio in a fast-paced, multi-unit retail environment. What You’ll Do Oversee daily operations across multiple retail store locations Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and leadership teams Drive sales, KPIs, labour, and budget performance Improve customer experience and operational consistency Build succession plans and develop future leaders Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture Analyze store performance, customer feedback, and trends to implement improvements Maintain compliance with company policies and provincial/federal cannabis regulations Review financial reports and prepare performance updates as required About You 3+ years of multi-unit retail management experience Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills Proven ability to manage budgets, labour, and KPIs Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+) Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Management or a related field (preferred) Working knowledge of cannabis regulations or experience in a regulated retail environment Reliable transportation and ability to travel between store locations Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Why You’ll Love Working With Us Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion At Value Buds, we are committed to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute.
