They ensure that the plant organization and the manufactured products meet the required specifications. They participate in the optimization of the formulas for the existing product ranges and in the development and marketing of new products. THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU Ensuring the quality of finished products; Planning and performing laboratory tests according to defined frequencies and methods; Implementing and managing the quality management system; Accrediting, creating, transferring, and activating new raw materials and finished products in the Production management system; Preparing and updating the specifications for all raw materials; Monitoring qualitative databases and drafting monthly reports on quality rates; Managing and monitoring nonconformities as well as corrective and preventive actions; Managing the laboratory device calibration program; Planning, participating in, and representing the plant in internal and external quality audits; Defining quality standards and writing the quality manual (specifications, procedures, etc.); Working in cooperation with Production to ensure knowledge and implementation of product quality; Planning, organizing, and carrying out experimental plans for the improvement of finished product formulas; Coordinating preventive and corrective actions to be taken in relation to nonconformities; Solving quality issues and investigating customer feedback in partnership with the Production Coordinator; Ensuring communication with the R&D and Technical departments. THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR Your Education : University degree with 3 to 5 years of field-related experience OR Diploma of collegial studies with a minimum of 5 years of field-related experience. Your Knowledge : Knowledge of quality system management; Knowledge of products and building insulation standards (an asset); Experience in setting up an ISO 9001 environment or work in this type of environment (an asset); Knowledge of American and Canadian building standards (an asset). Your Skills And Abilities : Bilingualism (French an asset); Communication skills; Analytical mind, systemic thinking, and a sense of organization; Thoroughness and reliability; Ability to set up simple monitoring tools shared by everyone; Rallying spirit (involving other departments in their quality mission); Ability to work in a continuous improvement mode.
