Key responsibilities include processing orders, liaising with carriers and shipping agents, arranging pickups and deliveries, managing shipment schedules, tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining shipping documentation, and ensuring compliance with established shipping procedures. The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple time-sensitive priorities in a fast-paced environment. THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU Shipping Operations Manage and monitor daily shipping and receiving activities. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery. Review and validate shipping documentation, delivery slips, and picking tickets. Verify shipment status, follow-up activities, and appointment scheduling. Validate load compliance to ensure shipments meet operational and quality requirements. Ensure the efficient flow of truck traffic and loading activities. Coordination and Problem Resolution Coordinate order modifications, adjustments, and unexpected shipping issues. Collaborate with Customer Service and Logistics teams regarding order changes and shipment requirements. Support the Shipping Manager in optimizing operational processes and improving workflow efficiency. Inventory and Administrative Support Participate in inventory counts and audit activities. Maintain and update computerized systems, records, and databases. Prepare and retain shipping records and related documentation. Perform other related duties as assigned. THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR Education College diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Experience and Knowledge 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, warehousing, or a related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Experience using ERP systems is considered an asset. Experience with Divalto is considered an asset. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is considered an asset. Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Knowledge of shipping procedures, logistics processes, and applicable transportation regulations. Skills and Competencies Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Adaptability and flexibility. Proficiency with computerized systems and data entry. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Strong customer service focus. Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Working Conditions Full-time position. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Must be willing and able to travel to Quebec for training. Company profit-sharing program.
