Financial Reporting Lead 📍 Calgary, AB, Canada 💼 Full-time | 10% travel A leading organisation is seeking a Financial Reporting Lead to provide management reporting, financial analysis and decision support. The role will focus on improving visibility into key business drivers, supporting financial performance and partnering closely with FP&A and wider Finance teams. Key Responsibilities Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions. Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reporting packages. Prepare detailed month-end analysis covering areas such as cash flow and corporate costs. Maintain forecasting files and support weekly, monthly and annual performance reporting. Conduct standard and ad hoc financial analysis across countries, markets and business segments. Monitor month-end reporting schedules and ensure key deadlines and commitments are met. Adapt and develop reporting processes in response to changing business requirements. Apply accounting principles, controls and financial standards across a range of business scenarios. Coordinate internal and external audit requirements. Partner with finance systems and analytics teams on reporting, hierarchy changes and system improvements. Work closely with shared services teams to support Finance objectives. Assist with planning and execution of forecasting cycles. Identify opportunities to improve reporting, analysis and business intelligence capabilities. Promote and adhere to applicable health, safety and environmental policies. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field. Minimum 5 years of accounting and financial management experience, with increasing levels of responsibility. CPA or equivalent accounting/finance designation preferred. Experience in a Big Four audit environment is an advantage. Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP. Experience with SAP FC, SAP ECC or BPC is an advantage. Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, particularly for reporting and data analysis. Strong financial and business analysis capabilities. Business intelligence experience. Ability to quickly develop knowledge of financial systems and processes. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to take on new responsibilities and adapt to changing requirements.
