We are currently seeking a Valve Technician to join our team in Paradise, NL. As a Valve Technician, you will inspect, maintain, repair, and test industrial valves in our facility and at customer sites. Working alongside an experienced technical team, you'll ensure all work is completed safely and to customer, quality, and regulatory standards. This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals, including recent graduates of technical programs, to develop specialized skills through hands-on experience, manufacturer training, and mentorship. Key Responsibilities Disassemble, inspect, clean, repair, and reassemble industrial valves. Perform pressure testing, leak testing to ensure valve performance and integrity. Complete preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Troubleshoot valve and mechanical equipment issues and recommend effective repair solutions. Support customer site visits. Complete required service reports, inspection documentation, and quality records. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Participate in manufacturer training and certification programs. Travel as required to support customer operations, including potential onshore and offshore assignments. Qualifications: Technical or post-secondary education in a related field. Strong mechanical aptitude; industrial or mechanical experience is an asset. Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and specifications. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience using hand and power tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and passport. Willingness to travel and work overtime when required. In accordance with provincial wage transparency requirements, the expected base compensation for this position is $20–$24/hr (or more) depending on experience, technical competencies, certifications, and qualifications.
