Job Title: Dispatcher Location: Calgary, AB Why Work With Us: * Competitive industry wage * Be part of a growing company * Strong HSE culture * Opportunities for advancement – great place to start your career or continue your growth * Source invests in our employees and their success What You’ll Be Doing: * Assign trucks to specific jobs within oilfield locations; * Review deliveries to ensure trucks arrive at delivery location in a timely manner; * Communicate with drivers, dispatcher(s), transload staff, field personnel and supervisors throughout the shift and at shift change for current status and issues; * Ability to handle changes in roster management throughout your shift * Manage relationship with third party suppliers and vendors to monitor loading and delivery; * Working a 12 hour shift on a flexible rotation Who We’re Looking For: * 3+ years of previous experience working in a dispatching and/or logistics environment with oilfield experience preferred; * Effective verbal and written communication skills; * Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office; * Problem solving and analytical skills, as well as a strong attention to detail; * Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere under pressure; * Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills; * Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks * Ability to work independently in an environment where priorities change quickly * Exceptional customer service skills with focus on positive client experience. * Technical Ability to operate within different software tracking systems to manage rosters * Enjoys interaction with people on a singular basis and working within a team structure What Will Help You Succeed: We are looking for individuals with a hardworking attitude, who have working knowledge of the trucking and logistics industry. Individuals must be self-motivated and adaptable to change. Other things that will help you succeed in this role include: * Provincial and Federal laws, procedures, standards and other requirements are complied with by carriers during the performance of their duties; * Maintain current knowledge of compliance requirements for the carriers including Hours of Service and Driver Log Requirements * Creative mindset and ability to adapt to a constantly changing roster requirements from outside factors * Technically proficient computer skills Dollars & Cents: * Starting wage: $63,000.00 per year * Paid vacation time * Health & Dental Insurance * Holiday pay * RRSP matching program * EAP (Employee Assistance Program), and a company-wide Health & Wellness Program * Monthly bonus program * Referral bonus program About Source Energy Services: Source Energy Services is a company that focuses on the integrated production and distribution of frac sand, as well as the distribution of other bulk completion materials not produced by Source.
