Reporting to the Agribusiness Manager, the Grow Team Advisor is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships within the trading area, generating sales, and promoting all Agro product lines including crop solutions, bins, machinery, and petroleum products. This role involves executing a strong customer contact program, providing agronomic advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction through sound technical support and product recommendations. The Advisor will be required to stay current with market trends, products, and farming practices to contribute to the ongoing success of the Agro Division. This role plays a critical part in maintaining our reputation as a trusted agribusiness partner in the region. Key Responsibilities Execute a proactive customer contact program to support and grow market presence Maintain and grow sales volume across Agro product lines (crop inputs, equipment, petroleum, etc.) Provide agronomic support and solutions tailored to individual customer needs Foster and manage relationships with growers, contractors, ag retailers, and internal departments Stay informed of industry trends, new products, and agronomic practices Contribute to inventory forecasting and budget alignment based on market insights Prepare and maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation Represent South Country Co-op with professionalism and integrity in the community Educate customers on the benefits of membership in South Country Co-op Other duties as assigned Qualifications 8+ years’ experience in the agriculture industry. 5+ years of progressive agricultural sales experience. Degree or diploma in Agriculture (BSc Ag preferred). CCA or P.Ag designation preferred. Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driving record. Ability to provide a clean drivers abstract, as part of the recruitment process. Strong agronomy knowledge across crops, soils, and horticulture. Experience working directly with farmers, ag retailers, and contractors. Ability to forecast market trends and manage inventory to meet budgets and customer needs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel). Excellent customer service skills and a collaborative team approach.
