OVERVIEW Manages all aspects of sales execution activities of a sales force covering multiple Provinces. Designs and executes long- and short-term sales and execution strategies in collaboration with the National Director. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage a team of Provincial Sale managers and territory managers; defines expectations, monitors progress, and counsels if expectations are not met * Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company depletion goals in collaboration with the Business development of each region * Direct sales development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals * Conduct sales meetings, train, develop and motivate a team to foster the success of overall sales performance * Develop overall sales strategies for key accounts (Retail & On-trade) in designated territory/region and improve the distribution of product * Collaborate with the Business Development team on supplier visits * Ensure effective routing to maximize call cycle * Align with supplier and SBDM team to understand their brands, sales goals/projections, and support in securing additional market share through the team's effective selling approach * Meet with key clients, assisting sale consultants with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals to achieve our Depletions goals by regions * Analyze and control expenditures (T&E and A&P) of each market to conform to budgetary requirements * Responsible for leading collaborative working relationship with SMBD, sales, and analytics teams to build monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives and validation reports to ensure targets are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely * Perform other job-related duties as assigned ADDITIONAL PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor s degree plus 5 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or mobile device * Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping * May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs EEO STATEMENT Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, an Affirmative Action/EEO employer, prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
