Position Overvi ewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to join our team. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable legislatio n.This role involves maintaining payroll records, processing employee changes and deductions, preparing payroll reports, and serving as a point of contact for payroll-related inquirie s. Key Responsibilit iesProcess biweekly and monthly payroll accurately and on ti me.Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, leaves, and other employment chang es.Calculate and process deductions, benefits, bonuses, overtime, taxable allowances, and other payroll adjustmen ts.Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and other documentation as requir ed.Ensure compliance with applicable federal and provincial payroll legislation and tax regulatio ns.Coordinate with Human Resources regarding employee changes, benefits, leaves, and entitlemen ts.Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional mann er.Assist with payroll audits and reconciliatio ns.Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive payroll and employee informati on.Support additional payroll-related projects and tasks as assign ed. Qualifications and Sk illsMinimum of 1–2 years of payroll experience in a similar r ole.Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation, or progress toward completion, is considered an as set.Strong knowledge of payroll systems such as ADP, Payworks, or Dayfo rce.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Ex cel.Understanding of payroll legislation, tax regulations, deductions, and benefits administrat ion.Strong attention to detail and organizational ski lls.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilit ies.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet payroll deadli nes.Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discret ion.
