Associate Optometrist – Changing lives through better sight Duncan The independent optometrist at Specsavers Duncan is looking for an associate optometrist to join their thriving clinic. This opportunity qualifies for up to a $100k forgivable loan with a three-year commitment. Specsavers is the world’s largest, privately-owned optical retailer. Your opportunity and practice Offering eye exams when patients need them starts with having the right team in each of our optometrist-owned and operated clinics. By joining an independent Optometry Partner and a team of passionate eyecare professionals, you’ll make a meaningful impact on eye health in the community. Our Duncan location This clinic is seeking coverage for 5 days per week, and a waitlist of 22 days to next appointment. This is an excellent opportunity for an optometrist who values autonomy, flexibility, and a relational approach to patient care. Your associate optometrist opportunity gives you: Clinical Excellence: Benefit from a fully integrated clinic with the latest diagnostic technology, including: The NIDEK Tonoref 3 NIDEK automated lensometer Topcon Maestro2 NIDEK intelligent refract RT-6100 S4OPTIK slit lamp Zeiss HFA3 with SITA Faster visual field Viewing patient pre-test reports and history is easier than ever and ensures so you can have more informed consultations with your patients. Culture of Dedication: Join a team committed to community eyecare and proactive monitoring of eye health for preventable vision loss, with OCT available as a standard part of every eye exam. Clinical Autonomy: Practice in a private, independent clinic with the support and resources of Specsavers, giving you the freedom to deliver care your way. Pre-test Support: Trained eyecare consultants welcome and take your patients through pre-testing so you have reports sent directly to your exam room to prepare for your consultations. Professional Development: Get access to a qualified optometry support consultant for professional development on-site and virtually. Compensation: Role Receive a daily minimum or percentage of billings, whichever amount is higher for each clinic day worked. The expected range for this role is: Daily minimum between $900 to $1000 Percentage of billings between 80% and 85% This opportunity qualifies for up to a $100k forgivable loan with a three-year commitment.
