Associate Optometrist Markham, Ontario Start seeing patients right away. Work alongside Dr. Anson Tam, a community-focused optometrist who prioritizes building strong patient relationships and delivering high-quality care. Dr. Anson Tam’s clinic This established clinic, located within Specsavers Markville Shopping Centre, is seeking an Associate Optometrist for 1 day per week, ideally Saturday. Conversational Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a strong asset. Supported by a dedicated, patient-focused team, the clinic serves a strong patient base and is committed to delivering high-quality care. You’ll have access to a full suite of advanced clinical technology, including: The NIDEK Tonoref 3 NIDEK automated lensometer Topcon Maestro2 NIDEK intelligent refract RT-6100 S4OPTIK slit lamp A shared commitment to care — be part of a team dedicated to proactive eye health, with OCT available as a standard part of every eye exam Integrated pre-test support — trained eyecare consultants welcome and guide your patients through pre-testing, with results sent directly to your exam room for your consultation Clinical autonomy — practice in an independent clinic with the freedom to deliver care your way, supported by Specsavers’ technology and resources Ongoing development — access dedicated optometry support consultants and annual continuing education opportunities for professional growth Clinic ownership when you’re ready – develop your business acumen and ability to lead teams. Compensation Receive a daily minimum or a percentage billings, whichever amount is higher for each clinic day worked. The expected range for this role is: Daily minimum of $600 CAD Percentage of billings: 70% Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skillset by the independent clinic owner.
