The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for creating a great candidate experience, screening, interviewing and the selecting top talent for Spectrum Health Care. Job Description Manage active candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide best in class candidate experience from the first contact to onboarding Review resumes, phone screen and interview candidates, conduct reference checks, collect documentation, and schedule for orientation Establish and maintain collaborative relationships internally to understand current and future workforce needs Be an ambassador of our brand to improve our employer brand strategy around hiring and retention Manage active candidates throughout the recruitment process through effective communication to ensure a positive candidate experience, Source both active and passive candidates with the intent on identifying, connecting, and recruiting the best talent Qualifications 1+ years’ experience in high volume talent acquisition role Bilingual English/French is an asset Basic understanding of the recruitment lifecycle and hiring best practices Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and eagerness to learn In office role in Toronto (Bloor/Yonge) office Additional Information This position is a current vacancy Spectrum Health Care is thrilled to be named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
