Backed by a fifth-generation family-owned company, Spicers is a leading distributor of commercial print and business papers, specialty products, graphic solutions, sign & display equipment and materials, and packaging and facility supplies and equipment. We’re based in Vaughan, Ontario, with 13 regional locations that include custom manufacturing facilities in Edmonton, Toronto and Winnipeg, as well as cash and carry locations, product showrooms and equipment demo sites. We are currently looking for a full-time Marketing Coordinator located in Vaughan, Ontario, reporting to the Director of Marketing and Creative. Summary The Spicers Marketing team is expanding as we gear up for an exciting future, and we’re on the hunt for a creative and detailed orientated Marketing Coordinator to help elevate our marketing initiatives! In this pivotal role, you’ll be a key player in supporting the growth of our marketing efforts across three dynamic segments: paper, packaging, and graphic systems. Your contributions will help scale campaigns, support exciting projects, and amplify the success of our national brand. Your Challenge In this role, you'll collaborate with multiple teams to bring our marketing campaigns to life! You’ll coordinate the delivery of creative assets, manage marketing materials, and assist in both digital and traditional brand initiatives. You’ll be the vital link between our segment leaders and branch champions, ensuring that marketing programs are executed on time and with impact. From coordinating events and creating presentations to helping develop fresh, creative content in both English and French, you'll play a hands-on role in driving Spicers' marketing success. Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing and Creative, the duties and responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator include, but are not limited to, the following: Supporting Corporate Marketing programs from Fleet Design to Business Cards to Yearly Calendar creation and more; Managing and delivering creative assets, campaign materials, and digital content on time leveraging Adobe Creative Suite; Collaborate with the three-marketing segment leads to develop, support and execute impactful marketing programs and campaigns; Manage social media programs from creative to content to metrics leveraging Canva; Assisting with event planning, vendor coordination, and promotional materials; Creating compelling PowerPoint presentations for national sales events and meetings; Keeping track of project timelines and deliverables with tools like Monday.com; Maintaining brand library and supplies; logos, photos, illustrations, and promotional items; and Supporting internal teams and external sales departments with marketing initiatives. Your Qualifications Dynamic and forward-thinking marketing professional with a creative mindset; Creative, motivated, and driven to make an impact; 3-5 years of experience in marketing or a related field; Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to shifting priorities; Familiarity with tools such as Monday.com, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite; Experience working with offset and digital print technologies; Experience using AI tools; and Working knowledge of HubSpot is considered an asset. Working Conditions Able to work on a computer for numerous hours which may result in strain on wrists, eyes, back, etc.; Ability to work in a busy, open area office; May have to spend long hours in concentration which requires attention to detail and high levels of accuracy; This position faces a number of deadlines which may cause stress; and Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
