Backed by a fifth-generation family-owned company, Spicers is a leading distributor of commercial print and business papers, specialty products, graphic solutions, sign & display equipment and materials, and packaging and facility supplies and equipment. We’re based in Vaughan, Ontario, with 13 regional locations that include custom manufacturing facilities in Edmonton, Toronto and Winnipeg, as well as cash and carry locations, product showrooms and equipment demo sites. We are currently looking for a full-time Warehouse Supervisor located in Montreal, QC, reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, Quebec Region. Your Challenge Under the supervision of the Regional Operations Manager, Quebec Region, the duties and responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor include, but are not limited to, the following: Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews. Implementing production, productivity, quality and customer service standards, resolving problems, and identifying warehouse system improvements. Ensure that the Regional Operations Manager, Quebec Region, is kept informed in a timely manner of activities, issues, risks, and concerns related to warehouse operations. Supervise, engage, and coordinate the work of unionized employees by assigning tasks according to operational priorities. Plan staffing levels and work schedules to optimize resources and productivity across warehouse and delivery teams. Ensure the accurate entry, verification, and approval of timesheets to ensure payroll is processed within the required deadlines. Coordinate and optimize workflow to ensure operational efficiency and continuity. Plan, organize, and oversee employee training, onboarding, and development activities. Ensure the safe and compliant use of equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures. Provide coaching, development, and employee engagement to foster commitment, performance, and achievement of objectives. Maintain the integrity and accuracy of inventory, computer data, and operational reports. Ensure proper identification, labeling, and recording of inventory during receiving, storage, picking, and shipping activities. Resolve operational issues related to the receiving, storage, picking, and shipping of goods. Ensure required administrative follow-up and the accuracy of operational documentation, including receiving documents and bills of lading. Ensure the proper functioning of warehouse equipment and oversee maintenance follow-up. Promote and enforce workplace health and safety policies and practices. Embody Spicers’ values, guiding principles, and leadership commitments. All other duties as assigned. Your Qualifications Completion of a secondary school diploma or equivalent; Minimum 3 – 5 years’ warehouse experience; Bilingual in French and English (an asset); Strong knowledge and understanding of the industrial products and packaging industry; Strong communication skills (both oral and written); Proficiency in Microsoft products; Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations; Superior leadership skills and interpersonal skills to manage employees, communication with a wide range of customers and to work closely with internal employees; Ability to foster high morale, enthusiasm, and teamwork; Ability to work under minimal supervision; Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; Electric walkie certificate; Valid forklift certificate; and WHMIS and T.G.D. certifications. Working Conditions Ability to lift up to 50lbs; Requires personal protective equipment; Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals; and Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work and periodic flexible shift changes (i.e. vacation coverage, etc.).

Exigences
Requires a high school diploma and 3-5 years of warehouse experience with strong leadership and communication skills. Must possess valid certifications for electric walkie, forklift, WHMIS, and T.G.D.
