Job Summary The Vice Principal is a proactive campus leader responsible for maintaining high administrative and educational standards. This position fosters a positive and structured learning environment. Engages with teachers, students and parents to ensure academic and operational excellence. This position requires a self‑starter who thrives in collaborative and independent settings, demonstrates Spirit of Math’s core values, and is committed to driving the success of the campus community. Department Campus Operations Reporting Responsibilities The Vice Principal reports directly to the Campus Principal Education Required A Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university is necessary, math and science preferred. A Bachelor of Education degree is an asset, but it is not mandatory. Responsibilities Assist the Principal in overseeing daily campus operations, ensuring smooth delivery of academic and business functions. Conduct performance reviews with staff, monitor compliance with KPIs, and uphold Spirit of Math standards. Support student progress monitoring, conduct interviews for program suitability, and address academic or behavioral concerns. Deliver lessons weekly and serve as a substitute teacher when required. Supervise, train, and mentor teaching staff, assistant teachers, and administrative personnel to maintain high educational standards. Collaborate with the Principal on recruitment, hiring, and, when necessary, termination decisions. Manage administrative tasks, provide HR documentation, and support personnel reviews during leadership shifts. Oversee campus marketing initiatives, events, and summer camps to support growth and community engagement. Ensure curriculum alignment with Spirit of Math pedagogy and maintain accurate records in Brightspace and other systems. Monitor campus safety, health, and facility maintenance, while fostering strong communication with parents, staff, and students. Skills Required Leadership and Team Management: Ability to supervise, mentor, and evaluate teachers, assistant teachers, and administrative staff while fostering professional growth. Organizational and Administrative Skills: Strong capability to manage daily campus operations, maintain accurate records, and oversee scheduling, resources, and compliance with company standards. Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong capability to oversee multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth campus operations. Communication and Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with parents, students, and staff, address concerns professionally, and build a positive campus community. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Confident, proactive approach to resolving operational issues, handling student/parent concerns, and supporting campus growth initiatives. Working Conditions Monday to Friday/Saturday in campus from 12:30PM to 8:30PM Why Work With Us?
