Our client is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Piping Designer (6–15 years’ experience) to support major pipeline engineering projects within an EPCM environment, to join their company for a 1 year term contract (could become Perm for the right individual). Work will span a natural gas pipeline detailed engineering project and a light oil pipeline FEED development project. Must have skillset to be able to take ownership of project to completion Overview We are looking for intermediate to senior piping designers. The projects we’re looking to staff are for a large natural gas pipeline detailed engineering project with valve stations and metering, and a medium sized light oil pipeline FEED development with (LACTs, pump stations, tank farm, etc). The environment thrives on individuals who own their work to completion (as opposed to straight task-driven arrangements). Responsibilities Producing 2D drawings such as P&IDs, isometrics, general arrangement drawings, etc. The work will primarily include revising 3D models to capture comments and design refinements, and producing drawings. Track work being completed Support both FEED and detailed engineering phases Maintaining personal scheduling/forecasting of the work that’s assigned. Education 6–15 years of piping design experience in oil & gas or pipeline projects Proficiency in: CADWorx and/or Plant 3D AutoCAD Familiar with pipeline facilities (valves, metering, pumps, tanks, LACTs) Strong organization, accountability, and ability to work independently Must have EPCM experience **We thank all applicants for applying, however only those considered for an interview will be contacted directly** Spirit Omega is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
