Kinder Explorers Instructor - Pre-School

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a part-time (Mon-Friday 11:30-3:15 pm) Preschool Instructor at St. Benedict School in Leduc, Alberta, beginning August 26, 2026. The successful candidate must have a level 2 or higher Early Childhood Certificate. Preference will be given to candidates with training in Outdoor Play and those who are a team player in a collaborate Catholic school. Ability to create, plan and deliver a play based, developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports children's social, emotional, physical, spiritual and academic growth. Potential for additional hours. Employment is conditional upon the submission of a recent (within six months) Criminal Record Check, including the Vulnerable Sector Check, as well as a recent (within 6 months)Alberta Children's Intervention Record Check. The instructor will create, plan, and deliver a play-based learning environment for preschool children. The role focuses on supporting children's social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and academic growth.

Candidates must possess a level 2 or higher Early Childhood Certificate and pass a Criminal Record Check and Children's Intervention Record Check. Training in Outdoor Play and experience in a Catholic school environment are considered assets.
