Temporary Part-Time Out of School Educational Assistant - 0.31 FTE

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a Temporary Part-Time Out of School Care Educational Assistant position at St.Anthony School in Drayton Valley, Alberta, beginning August 27, 2026 to May 31, 2027. We are looking for a caregiver who is dependable, engaging and enjoys creating a positive environment for children. The successful candidate will lead activities, support children throughout the program, encourage positive interactions and assist in creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive after school experience. While all qualified applicants are welcome to apply, certification level will be considered a priority in our selection process with preference given to Level 3 ECE followed by Level 2 then Level 1 Employment is conditional upon the submission of a recent (within six months) Criminal Record Check, including the Vulnerable Sector Check, as well as a recent (within 6 months)Alberta Children's Intervention Record Check. The candidate will lead activities and support children within an after-school program to create a safe and inclusive environment. They are responsible for encouraging positive interactions and ensuring a welcoming experience for all students.

Applicants should ideally hold an ECE certification (Level 1, 2, or 3), with Level 3 being preferred. Employment is contingent upon passing a Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Check, and Alberta Children's Intervention Record Check.
