Our Finance headquarters are located in Winnipeg, Canada where the accounting function is performed centrally for our facilities in North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. As a Financial Analyst you will be exposed to accounting and operations on a global scale and build the unique knowledge and expertise of one of the world’s largest independent maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) providers. Location: Winnipeg, MB What You’ll Do * Perform professional accounting work in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and reporting requirements * Maintain general ledger accounts with a high degree of accuracy * Preparation of monthly journal entries * Reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts on a monthly basis ensuring proper support and procedures are maintained * Actively participate in the maintenance of the control environment ensuring processes and procedures are followed as required. * Participate in interim and year-end audit activities as required * Assist in the preparation of various internal and external reporting requirements including quarterly working papers and financial statement disclosure. * Promote teamwork, cooperation and effective communication within the finance department. Position Requirements: * Must be authorized to work in Canada * Minimum 3 years experience as an accounting or finance analyst or other related experience * Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field * Holds (or is actively pursuing) a recognized professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA, or CPA). Perform professional accounting work according to GAAP, including maintaining general ledger accounts and preparing monthly journal entries. Assist with internal and external reporting requirements and participate in interim and year-end audit activities.

Requires a post-secondary degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 3 years of experience as an analyst. Candidates should hold or be pursuing a professional accounting designation such as CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA.
