As a Financial Analyst you will be exposed to accounting and operations on a global scale and build the unique knowledge and expertise of one of the world’s largest independent maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) providers. Location: Winnipeg, MB What You’ll Do * Perform professional accounting work in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and reporting requirements * Maintain general ledger accounts with a high degree of accuracy * Preparation of monthly journal entries * Reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts on a monthly basis ensuring proper support and procedures are maintained * Actively participate in the maintenance of the control environment ensuring processes and procedures are followed as required. * Participate in interim and year-end audit activities as required * Assist in the preparation of various internal and external reporting requirements including quarterly working papers and financial statement disclosure. * Promote teamwork, cooperation and effective communication within the finance department. Position Requirements: * Must be authorized to work in Canada * Minimum 3 years experience as an accounting or finance analyst or other related experience * Post-secondary degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field * Holds (or is actively pursuing) a recognized professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA, or CPA). Exigences
Requires a post-secondary degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 3 years of experience as an analyst. Candidates should hold or be pursuing a professional accounting designation such as CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA.
