Your Opportunity Our hydro team is seeking a colleague who enjoys understanding client needs and matching them with Stantec’s service offerings to fill the role of Hydropower & Dams Lead – Quebec You will act as a “seller/doer” with strong connections in the Quebec hydropower industry. This being a technically integrated role, you are an engineer who can draw on experience in a variety of areas including design, construction and operation of dams, spillways, intake structures, water conveyances and powerhouses as well as the associated equipment of gates, valves, turbine-generator units and balance of plant. Post graduate degree in an engineering or business field is an asset. Professional designation obtained in Quebec Minimum of 15 years of experience in hydro industry, at least partially with a consulting engineering firm Knowledge of a variety of software programs used in engineering analysis and design; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Project management experience with demonstrated organizational and communication skills on multi-disciplinary projects Position will have flexibility with working from home and/or office attendance in one of our Montreal area offices. Occasional travel to client sites will be required.
