Job Description Some of what you will do The Print Centre Production Supervisor oversees the operations of the Print Centre Hub. Participates in the development, including quality of work, on time delivery, and driving production volume. Responsible for coaching and providing high quality instruction to the Associates. Supervises performance of direct reports and ensures ongoing performance development. Specifically, You Will Accountable for training and coaching associates in all aspects of copy production and sales. Partners with management to performance manage direct reports including documentation. Executes production tasks such as processing customer orders in an efficient, accurate manner and paying close attention to detail and instructions, and follow proper production procedures (set up, quality control, and finishing). Accountable for the on-time delivery of jobs that are configured as ordered. Supports a work environment that fosters team work and individual skills development. Promotes a productive work environment through effective utilization of resources. Uses a variety of communication tools (one-on-one, department meetings, bulletin boards etc.) to successfully ensure all associates are aware of daily, weekly, and monthly goals. Has a complete understanding of company policies and procedures related to their position and direct reports, as outlined in the training checklists. Promotes and maintains a safe working environment and follows all company protocols for safety and is required to report any unsafe working conditions to a manager. Qualifications Some of what you need 2-3 years progressive experience with previous supervisory and coaching experience. 1-2 years in a Print environment with a working knowledge of graphic design principles is preferred. Successful completion of high school or greater. Additional information Strong familiarity with digital and specialty print products and production techniques. Ability to plan, organize and prioritize efficiently in the Copy Centre Hub. Can engage appropriately and develop a team environment. About Us We value transparency in our hiring processes.
