Stella-Jones is seeking one highly motivated Summer Students for its Woodlands division based out of Salmon Arm, British Columbia. Under the supervision and coaching of experienced Forest Processionals, the successful candidates will gain exposure and hands-on experience to various aspects of road and block layout, timber cruising and silviculture surveys on some of most diverse terrain in B.C. The student will assist with road and block layout, timber cruising, and silviculture surveys under the supervision of experienced forestry professionals. They will gain hands-on experience working in diverse terrain throughout the summer season.

Candidates must be full-time students with an interest in forestry and possess a valid driver's license. Physical fitness for varied outdoor terrain and familiarity with GPS technology are required.
