Key Responsibilities: Deliver to customer yards and job site locations including multiple provinces, potentially cross-border state delivery (USA) Load and unload poles by using a log loader/boom with grapple attachment and including other trucks. They will be placing poles into yard bunks, and onto other truck/trailer combinations. Delivers to customer yards and job site locations, including staking loads Maintain in vehicle, documents, permits and valid licenses for assigned truck/equipment. Assist in maintenance scheduling service of the trucks, yard and support equipment as required. Drive truck to destination including during adverse weather conditions and emergency storm response. Responsible for quantities and correct sizes and types to match shipping and receiving tickets to ensure accurate inventory. Ensure load tickets are signed, dated, and submitted on time upon completion. Maintain truck log according to provincial, State and Federal regulations. Maintain phone contact with Dispatch to receive delivery instructions whilst working with plant operations to utilize maximum efficiency Perform daily pre and post-trip DOT inspections on truck and trailer, check oil, coolant, tires, connections and pins, etc. Installation of tire chains if required. Properly secures cargo per DOT regulations. Responsible for safety, DOT, provincial and OSHA awareness Participate and contribute to company safety programs. Overnight stays are required and schedule can include periods of time away with rests on the road Performs other duties as assigned. Exigences

Requires a valid Commercial DL or AZ Driver's License and preferably 3 years of trucking experience. Must be able to handle overnight stays and operate heavy equipment in adverse weather conditions.
